Calling all young artists looking for creative mentorship.
5 1/2 hours a day with your favorite LAC teachers! Your camp, your ideas, your favorite mediums and lots of guidance from 2 professional teaching artists!

Tuesdays
HOW DO WE START?
Learn how to get started with demonstrations and easy-to-follow lessons around the topic of the week. Each week has a unique focus!
Wednesdays
Where do we go from here?
Work on projects and research new approaches so we challenge the inner critic. Learn new methods and use them! We love exploring: Wednesdays are travel days! See where art is created!!
Thursdays
Let’s bring it all together!
Art is more than a drawing or painting. We create meaning by creating through ideas, story and concepts. Present your ideas!
Each week has a new experience
Week I
Theme: Visualization can awaken self-awareness.
Skill Focus/mediums: Figure, faces and multi-media compositions. Hybrid creations encouraged! Painting & Drawing
Community Project: Themed Community Poster Project
Week II
Theme: Imagine the world you want to live in.
Skill Focus/mediums: Creating spaces, new worlds, landscapes and more. Drawing or digital using Procreate.
Community Project: Mural design and installation
Week III
Theme: We make art better by learning from mistakes
Skill Focus/mediums: Life studies, large format abstracts and learning about strengthening our composition. All mediums
Community Project: Student Planned Exhibition & Awards
